We are seeking a talented Manager of Finance to join our team at Gastroenterology Associates of the Piedmont. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO and practice leadership to oversee the financial performance of the practice and monitor ancillary services. Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial performance of the practice and ancillary services.
  • Develop and implement financial goals and standards aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison for financial matters with executive leadership, management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Produce timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
  • Lead financial analysis for strategic initiatives, emphasizing revenue streams and cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor daily financial activities, identify opportunities, and generate key performance indicators.
  • Participate in the development of the organization's vision, policies, and objectives.
  • Manage accounting, budgeting, and audit controls to minimize risk.
  • Stay informed of financial and industry trends to provide efficient solutions and cost control.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure compliance with government requirements.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Crystal reports and SQL queries are preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in AR, AP, payroll, and Epic is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Ten years or more of related experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • CMPE or FACMPE certification is advantageous.
  • Medical financial experience is helpful.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds if needed.
  • Travel may be required.
