Job Description
We are currently looking for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Madison County Jail in Madison, Florida. Responsibilities
- Provide healthcare and treatment to detainees in a correctional environment.
- Administer routine and emergency medical care for acute and chronic conditions.
- Carry out nursing care plans prescribed by licensed medical providers.
- Ensure security and safety protocols while providing patient care.
- Conduct initial and ongoing screenings on detained individuals.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
- Preference for experience in correctional nursing.
