Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
- Current state license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT following state guidelines.
- Assist in patient identification and referral to rehabilitation services.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and PT co-signature.
- Obtain necessary MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
- Complete all documentation requirements in compliance with state regulations.
