Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Kentucky Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Calumet Trace Senior Living. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for safely administering medications and treatments to our residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to the prescribed schedule.
• Maintain accurate and legible documentation of medications administered.
• Notify appropriate personnel of any changes in residents' conditions.
• Assist with medication records and re-ordering of medications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medication room and cart.
• Demonstrate proper techniques with medical equipment as required.
• Take accurate vital signs and weights.
• Complete incident reports and notify relevant parties of any incidents or errors.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work with the elderly population.
• Proficiency in English and the ability to attend required in-services.
• CPR certification and a clean criminal background check.
