Job Description
Wayne Brothers Companies is seeking a skilled Journeyman Millwright and/or Rigger who is willing to travel for this exciting opportunity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and alignment of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble machinery efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Operate alignment equipment and perform rigging tasks as needed.
- Ensure precise measurements and alignment for complex systems and equipment.
- Maintain a positive attitude while completing assigned tasks safely and accurately.
- Adhere to regulations, safety requirements, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Computer literacy for equipment operation.
- Rigging knowledge and physical strength to handle objects up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and work at heights for extended periods.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.
- Valid driver's license and OSHA 10-Hour Certification preferred.
