Job Description
Join Cargill, a global leader committed to safe and sustainable food production, as an Inventory Control Specialist in the protein and salt business division. As part of a dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring operational efficiency.
Principal Accountabilities
- Maintain inventory for Shipping and Freezer areas.
- Count and record inventory for various storage locations using inventory sheets.
- Utilize Dematic software for managing inventory in certain storage areas.
- Handle re-boxing and reworking of products as needed.
- Assist in unloading inbound trailers and preparing product orders.
Required Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Possession or ability to obtain a valid driver's license.
- Availability for weekend work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at Cargill is a plus.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Good attendance record and physical fitness to lift over 90lbs.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, 10 key).
