Guest Experience Lead

Job Description

We are looking for a Member Experience Lead (MEL) to join our team at VASA Fitness. The ideal candidate will be engaging, positive, organized, and able to drive the club towards success. As an MEL, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our "UPLIFT" culture, providing exceptional experiences for our guests and members, and leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Member Experience Specialists (MES) maintain our "UPLIFT" culture in the club
• Create and maintain an exceptional brand experience for guests and members
• Recruit, hire, and train MES team members
• Lead by example and ensure our values are the foundation for every interaction
• Promote REVIVE sales and maintain the club's equipment and facilities

Management Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager (GM) in forecasting staffing needs
• Conduct interviews and ensure the right candidates are hired
• Schedule and facilitate training for new MES team members
• Create a welcoming environment for interview candidates and new hires
• Evaluate team member interactions and provide coaching and feedback
• Delegate tasks to create balanced workloads and maximize efficiencies
• Teach and coach MES staff on converting guests to members
• Support GM in creating and achieving sales plans

Leadership and Coaching

• Communicate, lead by example, and motivate your team to develop passion for the brand and our approach
• Provide ideas and solutions to help move the business forward
• Prioritize tasks to achieve club goals and be able to adjust priorities as the business dictates
• Build trust and strong relationships with team members
• Provide coaching that inspires commitment and positive change
