Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, managing merchandise, and ensuring the store remains in top condition. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and collaborating with team members to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in finding products.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on product quality, inventory issues, and operational matters.
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Follow company policies to ensure security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting physical demands, including lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
