Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Greenbelt. The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring excellent guest satisfaction by supervising front desk team members, responding to guest inquiries and concerns, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer care and maintain a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Supervise daily shift processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Train and direct front desk staff, resolving issues and maintaining quality service.
  • Coordinate with other departments to enhance guest experience, including housekeeping and reservations.
  • Handle billing instructions accurately and process payments diligently.
  • Ensure safety and security procedures are followed, reporting any suspicious activity.
  • Participate in hotel committees, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain front desk supplies and equipment for optimal functionality.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Representative or Cashier, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and adapt to varying work schedules.
  • Commitment to ethical behavior and adherence to company Code of Ethics.

Work Environment

This position requires a working supervisor in a hotel environment, with some office work. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be necessary.
