Job Description:

The Equipment Operator I is an entry-level position responsible for operating equipment to maintain the golf course grounds at TPC Twin Cities. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a renowned golf course, hosting the PGA TOUR's 3M Open and designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Maintain and operate golf course machinery, following directions and log maintenance and gas usage for each machine.
• Perform tasks to keep the maintenance facility clean, organized, and safe.
• Inspect and report any deficiencies in the machinery and perform routine golf course maintenance activities as directed.
• Perform specific tasks relative to Equipment Operator I training, including line trimming, cart path edging, ball mark repair, and more.
• Wear personal protective clothing and use protective equipment to comply with safety standards.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to understand and follow directions and operate golf course machinery.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

The position requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and items with awkward weights. Vision abilities and compliance with safety and health regulations are essential.

Work Schedule:

Shifts as necessary based on business levels.
