Job Description

As the Director of Life Claims and Investigations, you will oversee Life, Annuity & Health claims and fraud investigation programs, ensuring exceptional member experiences and operational excellence. This role requires expertise in claims processing, fraud investigation, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to staff on procedures and guidelines.
- Approve claims and oversee claims and benefits processes.
- Develop and implement operational plans and policies in conjunction with senior management.
- Identify emerging fraud trends and develop fraud investigation programs.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead hiring, employee development, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure risks are effectively identified, measured, and controlled in compliance with policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of relevant experience without a degree (total of 12 years).
- 8 years of relevant business experience, including 3 years of Claims and/or Insurance Fraud experience.
- 3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
- US military experience or military spouse/domestic partner preferred.
- Solid background in Life Insurance and/or annuity claims management.
- Proven track record of delivering operational results.
