Job Description
Sevita, a part of Mentor Community Services, is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
- Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
- Assist with personal hygiene and behavioral challenges.
- Support participants in achieving developmental goals.
- Help individuals be part of the community and engage in activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5 years of caregiving experience can be substituted for education.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle.
- Successful background checks clearance.
- Compassionate and responsible attitude.
