First Student, the largest school transportation provider in North America, is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic for its Hillsborough Township and Hunterdon County School Districts service shop. Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and DOT maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose and perform various phases of vehicle and equipment repair.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders.
- Participate in mobile emergency services.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required; willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
- At least 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair experience or technical school education.
- Possess a mechanic’s tool set.
- Willingness to participate in the ASE certification program.
- Subject to a drug test.
