Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACT Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash-handling policies and minimize losses
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior retail experience is preferred
