Job Description
Join our team at Bishop Gadsden as a Companion | Caregiver for the day shift. As part of our Bishop Gadsden at Home Department, you will provide in-home support to clients, fostering independence and well-being, with a focus on emotional and social needs. We are looking for compassionate individuals who enjoy working with the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Help with laundering personal items.
- Support clients with appointment scheduling and transportation.
- Observe and report client conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Document client care accurately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical ability to assist clients and perform tasks.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to travel in Charleston County.
Required Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1 year of companion or caregiving experience.
