Job Description

Join REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, in providing community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently hiring Direct Support Professional Caregivers in Gloucester & Cumberland Counties, NJ. As a caregiver at Sevita, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others every day by helping them grow, learn, and live well.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Support participants in their developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships and facilitate community involvement for participants.
• Provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals with diverse needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Must be patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid Standard Driver's license with access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
