Job Description

The Experience Senior Living Team is seeking a Care Partner to join our amazing team! As a Care Partner, you will assist residents with their personal care, perform housekeeping and laundry tasks, and prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities as assigned.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
• Review and participate in shift change reports and verbal reports as needed.
• Assist residents to and from scheduled life enrichment programs.
• Promote personal choices, independence, and spiritual needs as needed.
• Provide verbal encouragement and support to residents.
• Communicate changes in resident needs to the Director of Health & Wellness and other departments.
• Respond to resident calls in a timely manner and ensure compliance with new resident care needs.
• Maintain infection control practices and report accidents and incidents.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and honor residents' personal and property rights.
• Be prepared for emergency situations including disasters, fire, and other emergencies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid preferred, but not required.
• Certification for Medication Assistance (if applicable) as needed per state regulations preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Passion to work with and around senior citizens.
• Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Neat, clean appearance and adherence to dress code.
