Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at the Emergency Department of Northwest Hospital. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality service to all customers, reflecting the mission and vision of the hospital and the Department of Nursing. The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital sees over 60,000 patients annually and is equipped to handle major and minor illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate resources for 24-hour accountability to ensure quality service.
- Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and implement clinical nursing interventions.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in nursing or a related field.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association CPR Certification, and BLS Certification required.
